Our father Evelino often accompanied us on holiday trips with his sailboat made entirely of fragrant wood. We were to leave in the middle of the night, accompanied by a light breeze that carried the cheerful scent of the Mediterranean scrub throughout the journey. Orion is the result of that distant echo.
